Uncommitted Practice Program

The Northwest Nationals (NWN) Uncommitted Practice Program – Winter is an elite supplemental practice program and recruiting event designed for select uncommitted 2027 and 2028 baseball student-athletes who have the goal of playing college baseball.

This 14-week program provides athletes with additional high-level practices beyond their school and club teams while creating meaningful opportunities to be evaluated by college coaches. Athletes will train alongside other highly motivated players in a competitive environment led by the Northwest Nationals coaching staff and up to three college coaches at each practice from universities and colleges throughout the Pacific Northwest.

The NWN Uncommitted Practice Program is unique because it combines player development with long-term recruiting exposure. Rather than attending a one-day showcase, athletes will work directly with college coaches over the course of 14 weeks, allowing coaches to evaluate player development, consistency, work ethic, coachability, competitiveness, and character in a true practice environment.

The NWN Uncommitted Practice Program is designed to:

  • Provide additional, high-quality practices for uncommitted athletes.

  • Serve as a supplemental practice program that complements—not replaces—an athlete's high school or club practices.

  • Allow athletes to work directly with university and college coaching staffs throughout the fall/winter.

  • Give university and college coaches the opportunity to evaluate and develop uncommitted athletes in a consistent practice environment.

  • Increase recruiting exposure while continuing to prioritize long-term player development.

Program Information

Graduation Years:
Select Uncommitted 2027 & 2028 Student-Athletes

Schedule:
October 4, 2026 – January 31, 2027 (14 Weeks)

Practice Time:
Sundays | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Dates and times are subject to change.

Holiday Breaks:

  • November 22 | November 29 | December 27 | January 3

Coaching Staff:

  • Northwest Nationals Coaching Staff

  • Up to Two University or College Coaches at each practice

  • Northwest Nationals Baseball and Softball Training Facility
