Uncommitted Practice Program

The NWN Uncommitted Practice Program is designed to provide high-level training and exposure opportunities for dedicated baseball players. Northwest Nationals collaborates with colleges and universities to offer two practices per week from June 9 through July 22 (7 weeks), hosted on college campuses and led by their coaching staffs. The program is open to uncommitted incoming 2027 and 2028 athletes and features approximately five hours of weekly instruction covering all aspects of the game in a fast-paced, college-style environment. In addition to player development, this program serves as a valuable recruiting opportunity, allowing athletes to work directly with college coaches and gain meaningful exposure to programs in the area.

Graduation Years: Uncommitted Incoming 2027 and Incoming 2028

- 5:00-7:30 - Practice will be in the evenings because of high school still in session

About the Practice program

The NWN Uncommitted Practice Program is for select uncommitted 2027 and 2028 athletes that are looking to play college baseball. The NWN Uncommitted Practice Program is a program that is a supplemental practice program and a recruiting event.

The intent of the NWN Uncommitted Practice Program :

Provide additional practices for athletes
- This will be supplemental practices and does not replace the athletes school/club practices
Provide uncommitted athletes the opportunity to practice on the university/college facilities
Provide uncommitted athletes the opportunity to work with the university/college coaching staff
Provide the university/college coaching staff to work with uncommitted athletes

Athletes will receive:
