Northwest Summer League

Baseball tournaments for 9U-18U in the Pacific Northwest concludes at the end July and resumes the beginning of September. This leaves a gap for many players to play baseball in August. The Northwest Summer League will provide top incoming 7th graders (2032) to incoming Seniors (2027) additional games (7-9 inning games) during the summer, giving players additional innings of baseball against top players in the Northwest. There will only be 25 position players and 6 Pitcher. A smaller roster provides significant playing time for each athlete on the roster.

Summer 2026 Age Groups:

  • Incoming 7th (2032), 8th (2031) and Freshman (2030)

  • Incoming Freshman (2030), Sophomores (2026) and Juniors (2028)

  • Incoming Juniors (2028) and Seniors (2027)

The Northwest Summer League will be for individual players only; it will not be for teams (club/organizations) to participate. Lastly, the Northwest Summer League will not be affiliated with a youth baseball club or youth baseball organization. It will be coached/instructed by Division I-III college coaches only at their respective team camps.

Division I Recruiting Calendar

It is essential to understand what college coaches are permitted to do when attending an event. NCAA recruiting rules vary by division and time of year, which directly affects whether coaches can attend events, evaluate athletes, or communicate with them.

Division I recruiting rules are the most restrictive and change throughout the year based on the NCAA recruiting calendar. These rules determine when Division I coaches may contact your athlete or be present at an event.

Important: The recruiting calendar referenced here applies only to Division I college coaches. Division II, Division III, and Junior/Community College programs follow different recruiting calendars and contact rules, which are not covered in this information.
