Mental Performance Partnership

Braden Bishop

The Northwest Nationals Development Academy is proud to partner with Braden Bishop to provide student-athletes with comprehensive mental performance training throughout the school year.

A standout at the University of Washington, Braden earned All-Pac-12 and All-Pac-12 Defensive Team honors while establishing himself as one of the premier outfielders in college baseball. He was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 3rd round of the 2015 MLB Draft, advanced through the Mariners organization, and competed at the Major League Baseball level with Seattle after a successful professional career built on elite defense, preparation, and relentless work ethic.

Drawing from his experiences competing at both the collegiate and professional levels, Braden will help student-athletes develop the mental skills necessary to perform consistently under pressure. Sessions will focus on confidence, resilience, focus, emotional regulation, competitive routines, leadership, communication, and strategies for overcoming adversity, providing athletes with practical tools they can apply in training, competition, academics, and everyday life.

Throughout the year, student-athletes will participate in structured mental performance sessions designed to strengthen self-awareness, improve decision-making, develop leadership qualities, and build the mental toughness required to compete at the highest levels of the game.

This partnership reflects the Northwest Nationals Development Academy's commitment to developing complete student-athletes by investing in every aspect of their growth, including mental performance, physical development, recovery, academics, leadership, and character.
