About Northwest Nationals:
Northwest Nationals Baseball/Softball LLC was established to provide a premier, year-round development pathway for baseball and softball athletes in the Pacific Northwest. Northwest Nationals delivers a systematic, knowledge-driven approach that helps athletes get significantly better through intentional work and expert guidance.
Our programs are designed to ensure athletes receive meaningful reps, quality coaching, and a clear plan forward ultimately maximizing their performance on the field and their confidence off of it.
Training & Development Structure
We offer a complete training ecosystem that spans skill development, athletic performance, and sport IQ, creating a comprehensive pathway for athletes to grow in every phase of their game. Rosters and training groups are intentionally kept small, allowing our coaches to provide personalized instruction, deliver measurable progress, and ensure athletes receive frequent, high-quality reps that truly move the needle.
Every program is built with a focus on long-term development rather than short-term results, helping athletes establish a sustainable foundation for success at the next level. In addition, we collaborate with the top programs, facilities, and coaching networks in the region to maximize growth opportunities, ensuring each athlete has access to the best resources, environments, and instruction available.
Development Philosophy
Smaller groups and structured development plans create an environment where every athlete receives meaningful engagement. This approach supports:
Higher-quality instruction
Greater playing and training opportunity
More effective skill transfer
Improved confidence and readiness for higher-level baseball
Training more like a professional
Training facility:
The Northwest Nationals Baseball/Softball Training Facility, located at 10200 SW Allen Blvd, Suite E, Building B in Beaverton, Oregon, is a premier development center dedicated to elevating the skills and performance of baseball and softball athletes across the region.
The facility includes 1,500 square feet of dedicated retail space, offering gear, training tools, and apparel to support athletes and families. The development space spans 9,200 square feet with 24-foot ceilings, the facility features six high-quality training cages, each designed to support a wide range of development needs. Cage dimensions include:
Cage 1: 20' x 75'
Cages 2–5: 15' x 50'
Cage 6: 20' x 70'
These spacious, well-designed cages provide an ideal environment for hitting, pitching, defensive work, and specialized training sessions, ensuring athletes have room to train with purpose and intensity.
Each cage is equipped with a Junior Hack Attack pitching machine, providing athletes with consistent, high-quality reps for athletes or parents to feed with ease. These machines allow for controlled velocity, pitch variety, and reliable ball delivery to support hitting development at all levels.
In addition, the two cages measuring 70 feet or longer include full pitching mounds, giving pitchers the space and appropriate distance needed to work on mechanics, command, velocity development, and bullpen work.
As the facility continues to grow, technology will serve as a cornerstone of our training environment implemented thoughtfully and intentionally. We are committed to using the right technology, not just more technology, to enhance athlete development through meaningful data, accurate feedback, and tools that directly support measurable improvement.

Family Education:
At Northwest Nationals, education is one of our highest priorities. We believe that athletes and families achieve their best outcomes when they understand how to navigate the baseball and softball landscape the right way, not reactively, but with clarity, purpose, and long-term vision. Our role is to help parents and athletes make informed decisions, avoid common pitfalls, and focus on development strategies that actually create meaningful progress.
We provide guidance on how to approach high school baseball, club programs, showcases, training opportunities, and recruiting events with confidence and intention. Too often, families feel pressured to participate in every event, team, or opportunity out of fear of missing out (FOMO). Northwest Nationals works to eliminate that pressure by educating families on what truly matters, what has real developmental value, and which steps are unnecessary or even counterproductive. Our commitment is to ensure that every decision is grounded in logic, purpose, and the athlete’s long-term best interest, not hype or trends.
A major focus of our educational philosophy is teaching athletes how to train like professionals, intentional reps, deliberate practice, accountability, and consistency. We guide athletes on how to structure their training time, how to evaluate their own performance, and how to avoid wasting effort on activities that look good on social media but offer little real value.
By educating athletes on why they train the way they do, what truly drives improvement, and how to avoid distractions, we help them build the maturity, confidence, and discipline needed to succeed at higher levels. This includes understanding recovery, strength work, practice priorities, game preparation, and how to manage the ups and downs of competition.
Ultimately, our educational approach gives families a clear roadmap. Instead of guessing or chasing the loudest trends, parents and athletes understand what the journey should look like, what steps to take, what to avoid, and how to make decisions that truly support the athlete’s long-term growth. By replacing uncertainty with knowledge, we empower families to move forward with focus, purpose, and peace of mind.
