NWN x Sunset Practice Program

The Northwest Nationals x Sunset High School Summer Baseball Practice Program will take place during the months of June and July at the Northwest Nationals Facility and Sunset High School. This program is designed as a supplemental training opportunity for motivated athletes who are serious about improving their skills and continuing their development throughout the summer. This program is fully supported by the Sunset High School baseball coaching staff.

Aaron Schoolcraft and Brian Pollard (Assistant Sunset High School coach), along with other experienced coaches, will lead the program. Our coaching staff is structured to provide specialized instruction at every position and will include a hitting coach, infield coach, catching coach, outfield coach, pitching coach and speed development. This format allows athletes to receive detailed, position-specific training while also developing a complete understanding of the game.

Our mission is to develop Sunset High School baseball players who have a strong desire to improve at the high school level and play college baseball. This is not a recreational program. We are committed to creating a competitive, disciplined, and development-focused environment for serious athletes who are willing to work, compete, and push themselves to improve.

Our program is built on the belief that real improvement happens through a systematic, intentional, and repeatable process. Progress in baseball doesn’t happen by chance—it comes from consistent routines, purposeful repetition, and a structured plan that challenges athletes to grow every week.

The program is open to incoming 8th graders (Class of 2031) through incoming seniors (Class of 2027) who are looking to sharpen their fundamentals, increase baseball IQ, and prepare themselves to compete at a higher level as they progress through their high school careers.
